Our project partner Sara Grasselli from Universitair Medisch Centrum Utrecht (UMCU) presented the m2M project at the Summer School on Light-Based 3D Printing in Ascona, Switzerland.
The presentation took place during the “European Bioprinting Projects” session, which focused on collaborative biofabrication research across the continent.
The dedicated session provided an overview of current European consortia advancing 3D printing and tissue engineering technologies. Beside m2M, the session featured updates from several parallel projects:
- NEOLIVER: Focused on biofabrication approaches for liver tissue constructs.
- Tentacle Project: Investigating 4D bioprinting strategies.
- LUMINATE Project: Exploring light-based manufacturing applications.
- STRONG-UR: Advancing tissue engineering methodologies.
Events of this nature serve as technical touchpoints for research teams across Europe. Participating in these forums allows consortia to share technical progress, evaluate parallel methodologies, and align research trajectories in light-based bioprinting.
