The m2M consortium at TERMIS

From Palma to the Lab: Milestones, TERMIS 2026, and What’s Next for our project!

The micro2MACRO team touched down in Palma de Mallorca for an intensive week of technical alignment, scientific exchange, and international networking.

We kicked off the trip with an in-person consortium meeting. While virtual syncs keep our momentum going, nothing beats having the entire team in the same room to review progress, tackle complex technical hurdles, and map out the next phases of our research. Sitting down together gave us the clarity needed to transition seamlessly from internal strategic planning to engaging with the broader scientific community.

From our internal review, we headed straight into the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS) conference, where the micro2MACRO project was active throughout the event:

Multiple partners delivered presentations and joined panel discussions, sharing our latest research updates and biofabrication breakthroughs. Our project partner, Metatissue, hosted a dedicated booth, showcasing the cutting-edge technologies driving our technical goals forward.

It was a productive week of planning, constructive debates and networking. With clear priorities set, we are back in our labs working through the next phase of the project.

A huge thank you to all of our partners who joined us in Palma and online—your hard work makes this progress possible.
